Thank you to Guest Speakers Dr Peter O'Callaghan and Ruby James

On Saturday 27th January 2024 Gwent Defibbers were very pleased to welcome Dr Peter O'Callaghan, Consultant Cardiologist and Heart Rhythm Specialist, to our meeting at the Old Church Rooms, Radyr, Cardiff.

Dr O'Callaghan gave a presentation on Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD's).

We are very grateful for Dr O'Callaghan giving up his time to attend our meeting, giving us a very interesting presentation and answering our members questions. Our members really appreciated the information that was given.

On Saturday 23rd March 2-4pm at St John Ambulance Hall, Abergavenny. Our guest speaker was Ruby James who is a Specialist Occupational Therapist - Cardiac and Heart Failure Rehabilitation. Ruby gave us a really interesting presentation around stress and different techniques which a lot of our members found helpful.
