Meeting 11th November 2023

The meeting held on Saturday 11th November at the St John Ambulance Hall, Abergavenny was a great success. The Guest Speaker Professor Barry McDonnell from Cardiff Metropolitan University, gave a talk about LVAD's and the importance of monitoring blood pressures, and it is shocking to hear the number of people walking around not aware of their dangerously high blood pressure.

Gwent Defibbers trained volunteers, continue to attend community events to take blood pressure measurements.

A special presentation was made to Amber, Elise, Aimee and Bethan as a thank you for running the Cardiff Half Marathon and raising funds for Gwent Defibbers.

Unfortunately Bethan was unable to attend the presentation.
